Tech should be here for everyone, and everyone should feel welcome in the field. Unfortunately, that's not the reality these days. We would like to do our best to change that, and that's why we're going to award a number of Diversity Scholarships for this year's AmsterdamJS Conference.

All women, LGBT+ folks, people of color, people with disabilities, and economically disadvantaged individuals working with JavaScript are welcome to apply for a scholarship, and come and join us at the conference for free.

If you'd like to join in, 📋 fill out this form, we’ll check if you’re eligible, and if so, your name will be a part of random lottery.

The deadline for appplications is March 23, 11:59pmCET. All the available tickets will be handed out by the end of March, and everyone will be notified via email. Please mind that the scholarship includes only the ticket to the conference, and at this time we can't sponsor travel and accommodation or participation in workshops.

This year, a couple of scholarships will also be awarded by our partner Unicorns in Tech, so we recommend following their channels for upcoming raffles. (They organize awesome get-togethers for the LGBT+ community and straight allies, so their activities are definitely worth following.)

We’re also looking for a diversity sponsor!

The scholarships are made possible in a joint effort with our sponsors. In case you run a company (or know one) that supports diversity in tech and would be interested in sponsoring the scholarship, simply drop us a line at hi@amsterdamjs.com.
